Komala never looked back since her first foreign tour abroad as a teenager to Singapore and Malaysia.

She has performed in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Sri Lanka, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, France and other countries on private invitations.
She went on a concert tour of Bulgaria under the Bilateral Cultural Exchange Programme.

• Komala performed at the UN for the United Nations Staff Recreation Council.
• She has performed for Nehru Birth Centenary Celebrations in Kobe, Japan.
• Apart from other programmes, she also performed a special programme for the Dance Masters in Japan organized by the Japan Foundation.
• She was invited to dance for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London.
• She has also performed at the International Dance Ferstival in France, at the Indian Fine Arts Festival in Cananda.
• Komala participated in the 19th World Dance Congress held in Larnaka, Cyprus from 9th to 13th November, 2005. She gave a performance and a Lecture Demonstration for the Congress.

• Khajuraho, Elephanta, Ellora, Ganga Mahotsava, Nrityanjali (Chidambaram), Mahabalipuram Festival, Mysore Dasara, Navroz (Bijapur), Tourism Week (Kerala), Performing Arts (Assam), Lucknow Festival, 8th World Tamil Conference (Tamil Nadu) and others.
• Komala performed her Sri Ram Charit Manas in Bharatanatyam at the Ayodhya and Chitrakoot festivals.
• She danced for the Buddha Mahotsav held in Saranath.
